The webinar’s topic is “The one and only way to start right in breeding gamefowl.” Yes there is only one way to start right. And that is by learning a little about the science of breeding. It is simple. If you want to do something, then you have to understand first that something you want to do. You cannot effectively do something you don’t understand. Therefore, if you want to breed gamefowl, then, you have to understand first what is breeding and what is gamefowl. Those who don’t understand what is breeding and what is gamefowl, are not breeding gamefowl. They are mating fowl.
You will use your little knowledge in genetics and scientifically map out the scientific and practical process. You will use your knowledge in classes of traits and how they interact with one another. You will use your knowledge in dominant/recessive/co-dominant genes; sex-linked; qualitative and quantitative inheritance.
With these knowledge producing the gamefowl you want is much easier. You should knowledge of breeding as a whole, not by piece meal unexplained tips.
Many who fancy themselves as game fowl breeder are only good at asking questions without asking for reasons. Others are good at answering qithout explaining. A real gamefowl breeder knows what he is doing.
