Blakliz is a bloodline created by Rey Bajenting of RB Sugbo Gamefowl Technology. It is named after wife Liz, for being such a good hen to their five children
It is originally designed as personal and exclusive bloodline, however, it was made available to the public for the first time in 2012 on very limited basis.
Described by the creator as a dynamic bloodline, the blakliz is best fought battle pure. It is a stand-alone bloodline that need not be blended with other bloodlines. Thus, it is economical to breed and maintain.
The blakliz is cited as an original Filipino bloodline in both books 1 and 2 of Lihim sa Pagbuo ng Sariling Linyada by Andrew T. Bunan . The story of the Blakliz is also on Pitgames No. 57 and the E-book A guide to Practical Breeding.
