Metabolites that are stealing our wins

What are these metabolites produced by microfungi that are causing many of our gamecocks to lose. In effect, stealing our wins. How can we counter the effects?

It is everywhere and you have heard of it.

Have you heard of mycotoxins? Mycotoxins are stealing our wins.

Mycotoxins are everywhere. Indeed it is almost impossible to avoid mycotoxins completely in agricultural products. Thus, there were a good number of times that unknown to us our cocks failed to register optimal performance because of mycotoxins in the feeds. In effect, mycotoxins are silenty stealing our wins.

Occurrence of mycotoxins is a worldwide problem for the animal industry, encompassing the whole poultry industry, including the gamecock.

In gamecocks, mycotoxins definitely result in anemic overall fighting performance. Moreover, incidence of mycotoxins in gamecocks feeds is high considering that indispensable component of the fighting cocks’ diet are the different grains which are highly susceptible to mycotoxins.

We cannot totally avoid mycotoxins risk. We may only apply an efficient and successful mycotoxins risk management. We can work of a very efficient way of detoxification that eliminates toxic residues and undesirable substances.

Some of the ways to effect mycotoxins risk management at the farm are the following:

1. Get your grains and other commodities from reliable suppliers with efficient post harvest toxin control measures. Before using make sure the grains and feeds are fresh, clean, and free of molds.

2. Wash the grains thoroughly or adopt other effective mycotoxins neutralizing measures such as peeling, milling, soaking or density segregation.

3. The organ in the body assigned to fight toxins is the liver. Take good care of the rooster’s liver and the liver will take care of mycotoxins risk management.

What will be the standards

of the fighting rooster

of the future?

The Peruvian is getting popular in the Philippines. It is a different kind of rooster. It is much bigger, much taller, much stronger, although not necessarily better than the American Game fowl.

Definitely the Peruvian game fowl will change the standards of the future. In some instances it will tremendously improve the present bloodlines. On the other hand it could also ruin many good bloodlines of today.

The Peruvian has a couple of good traits vital to winning Long Knife fights. But it also has more bad traits. Finding out which are good and which are bad is the challenge.

We think just enough Peruvian blood is good. Too much Peruvian blood is bad.

We are trying to balance it out. Check out the PERUBLIZ.
