RB Sugbo was founded by Rey Bajenting in year 2000. It is based in Argao, Cebu and dedicated to helping the ordinary and small chicken lovers through technology transfer and making available to them quality breeding materials at affordable prices.

RBS produced its own bloodlines as well as from imported ones.

At the end of 2018, RBS founder Rey Bajenting took his leave from other activities to concentrate on scientific and practical breeding.

​

Now RBS continues to breed for research and development and to produce bloodlines conforming with the standards of the future.  RBS also runs a school on breeding, the Advanced Breeding Academy that offers online courses on scientific practical breeding.

In 2020, amid the Covid-19 crisis, Rey Bajenting took a complete leave from both RB Sugbo and MANA activites, due to health issues. However, breeding programs and projects exeisting at the time continued and remained properly managed by a team who had learned and possessed extensive knowledge of the RB Sugbo methods.
